02In an emergency

How fast can you get here?

We answer 24/7 and aim to be on site the same day across Toronto and the GTA. Break-ins, smashed storefronts and unsecured ground-floor openings go to the front of the queue.

  • Day or night, weekends and holidays included.
  • Priority dispatch for break-ins and any property left open to the street.
  • Exact arrival depends on your location, the time and traffic. We give you a real arrival window on the phone, not a number we cannot hit.

Do you board up after a break-in?

Yes. We board up and secure broken windows, doors and storefronts, then clean up the glass so the space is safe to use.

If the glass cannot be replaced on the spot, we board the opening, make it weatherproof and secure the same visit, then come back to fit the new glass. After a break-in we work around the police and your insurer, so take photos before we clean up.

Do you repair or replace broken glass?

In most cases we replace the glass and keep your existing frame. A cracked or shattered pane gets replaced, not patched.

We swap the glass in your window or door and leave the frame, hardware and rollers in place where they are sound. That is faster and cheaper than replacing the whole unit.

If the frame itself is damaged we will tell you on site and explain the options.

What should I do when a window breaks at night?

Keep everyone away from the glass, secure the opening as best you can, and call us. Here is the order that keeps people safe and your claim clean.

  1. 1Keep people and pets clear of the glass and put shoes on.
  2. 2Do not pull large shards out of the frame. You can ease loose pieces inward onto a towel.
  3. 3If it is a break-in, call the police first and photograph the damage before you touch anything, for insurance.
  4. 4Cover the opening with cardboard or a board and tape if you have it to hand.
  5. 5Call us. We will secure the opening and replace the glass.

Is this an emergency, or can it wait until morning?

If the opening is exposed to the street or the weather, or there is loose glass where people walk, call now. If the pane is cracked but holding and the building still closes and locks, book it for the daytime instead.

Call now

  • A window, door or storefront open to the street
  • Any break-in, however small the opening
  • Loose glass where children, pets or customers walk
  • A ground-floor opening that no longer locks

It can wait until morning

  • A cracked pane still in one piece, in a window that closes
  • A foggy sealed unit: a failed seal, not a security problem
  • A damaged mirror or interior pane that is not shedding glass

Not sure which you have? Call anyway and we will tell you straight, including whether waiting until morning saves you money.

03Pricing

How much does emergency glass repair cost?

The price depends on the glass, not a flat call-out rate. We give you a firm price before any work starts, so nothing changes after the job is done.

What drives the price:

  • Glass type: a standard pane, tempered safety glass, or a sealed double-pane unit.
  • Size and thickness of the pane.
  • Residential window versus a large commercial storefront unit.
  • After-hours, weekend or holiday timing.
  • Whether the opening needs a board-up first.

A plain single pane sits at the low end. Tempered glass, sealed units and storefront panes cost more, and after-hours or board-up adds to it. Tell us what broke and we will give you a range on the phone and a firm price on site.

04Commercial & storefront

Storefront or office glass broken? We secure it the same night.

A smashed storefront cannot wait until morning. We board up and secure your unit the same night so you can lock up, then replace the glass on your schedule. We work with shop owners, property managers, restaurants and condo boards across the GTA.

08FAQ

Common questions

Do you offer 24 hour glass repair?

Yes. The line is answered 24/7 and we dispatch day or night, including weekends and holidays. Break-ins and properties left open to the street get priority.

Is glass repair covered by insurance?

Often, yes, especially after a break-in or vandalism. Most home and commercial policies cover glass damage, sometimes minus your deductible. Photograph the damage before any clean-up, keep our invoice, and check your policy or ask your broker. We can provide the documentation your insurer needs.

Do you charge a call-out fee?

You get one firm price before any work starts, and that price is the full cost, so there is no separate fee that appears after the job is done. Call and describe the damage and we will explain exactly what you are paying for, including any after-hours timing.

What areas of the GTA do you cover?

Toronto and the Greater Toronto Area, including Mississauga, Brampton, Vaughan, Markham, Richmond Hill, Scarborough, North York, Hamilton and the surrounding cities. Not listed? Call and we will confirm whether you are in our area.

What should I have ready when I call?

What broke (window, door or storefront), roughly how big the pane is, and whether the opening is exposed to the street. A photo helps but is not required. With that we can give you an arrival window and a price range on the phone.

Do you do auto or windshield glass?

No. We handle building glass only: home and commercial windows, doors and storefronts. For a car windshield you want an auto glass specialist.

Do I need to be there myself, or can a tenant or property manager let you in?

Whoever can safely let us in and confirm the damage is fine, whether that is you, a tenant, a property manager or building staff. Just make sure whoever books the call can describe what is broken and give us access to the unit.
